Jh., nämlich der Übergang von Hochrenaissance zu Frühbarock und typische Bearbeitungsformen wie Diminution und Cantus-Firmus-Satz. Nach dem Vorbild historischer Quellen sind in allen Programmen auch eigene Instrumental-Diminutionen oder andere "willkürliche Veränderungen" zu hören. |

Website Ziel des Ensembles ist es, Kompositionen des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts stilgerecht und lebendig aufzuführen. Das Repertoire umfasst schwerpunktmäßig geistliche Kantaten und Instrumentalwerke des norddeutschen Barock (Dietrich Buxtehude, Franz Tunder, Matthias Weckmann, Nicolaus Bruhns, Johann Rosenmüller, Georg Philipp Telemann u.a.). Gezielte Erweiterungen des Ensembles erlauben auch die Aufführung größerer Werke, z.B. von Brandenburgischen Konzerten oder Kirchenkantaten von Johann Sebastian Bach. |

Website The Netherlands Bach Society owes its existence and fame to the performances of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion which it has given since 1922, in the Grote Kerk, Naarden. These performances are greatly beloved by the Dutch public, and they attract a yearly audience of more than 12,000. The present-day Netherlands Bach Society consists of a group of professional singers and instrumentalists who are specialized in the performance practice of 17th and 18th century repertoire. The artistic director, and chief conductor of The Netherlands Bach Society, is Jos van Veldhoven. |
